ストーリーを楽しみながら、中学校で学ぶ文法や英語表現をしっかり身につけることをテーマにしたラジオ番組です。
あらすじ
ある日のこと。公園のベンチで日記を書いていたニコは、だれかに話しかけられました。
声の主はなんとネズミ！ ネズミは「ぼくはカール」と名乗ります。
英語で会話を続けるふたりでしたが、カールは話をさえぎって「行かなきゃ！」と走っていきます。
追ううちに、自分の見知らぬ森のなかに立っていることに気づいたニコ。
実は、その森は英語を話す不思議な世界「ファーウッド・フォレスト」だったのです。

今週は「人称」について詳しく学びましたね。
「人称」とは、会話における立場（話し手、聞き手、それ以外）を示すもので、英語の文法を理解する上でとても重要です。

「私たち」のように、複数の人を表す代名詞 we の使い方を学びました。主語が複数の場合、be動詞は are になります。

近くにある「もの」や「人」を指すときは、代名詞 This を使います。遠くのものを指すときは That を使います。

近くにある複数の「もの」や「人」を指すときは These を使います。遠くにある複数のものを指すときは Those です。

Thursday's key points
- It's Saturday evening.
- 土曜の晩です。
時間、曜日、天気、日付などを言うときは、主語に It を使います。この It には「それは」という意味はありません。
